Peteena was the first animal fashion doll. She was produced only for a year. She isn't hard to find but her value has risen in recent years due to te interest of collectors. She is about 25 cm tall which is a prefect size for me because I do not like bigger dolls. She is made of vinyl, has a rigid body, brown eyes and pastel make up. She is marked "©1966/Hasbro®/Japan/Patent Pending" at the back.
She is very versatile and I think we will be very good friends. Moreover, to my surprise she can wear Blythe, Yo SD and even Lati yellow clothes. Wigs that I use are Lati Yellows' size. Her name is Ferdynanda Wspaniała which means Ferdynanda the Greatest. As a child my favourite book and audiobook was "Ferdynand Wspaniały" (Ferdynand the Greatest). It was a story about a dog which fell asleep on a couch and dreams that suddenly stands on his two feet and decides to lead a life of a human. He visits a tailor, makes new friends, goes to the dentists etc. It was my first story on a cassette in my first walkman Sanyo. Wonderful sounds, great actors.
I should also mention that I got my beloved Ferdynanda from a friend as a present. She came to me with a closet full of clothes made by my friend and with many boxes of goodies! The best present ever! You can visit her here or visit flickr for more up-to-date adventures.

Dawno nic nie pisałam. Zatem postanowiłam pochwalić się nie moją pracą ale buzią, która to posłużyła ostatnio do zilustrowania pewnej pracy Bartka Arobala.

Wiosną 2010 roku siedmioro artystów sztuk wizualnych otrzymało od Teatru Wielkiego – Opery Narodowej propozycję stworzenia prac inspirowanych muzyką Sudden Rain Aleksandra Nowaka i Between Agaty Zubel Zaproszeni artyści - Agata Bogacka, Hubert Czerepok, Bartek Kociemba (Arobal), Dominik Jałowiński, Angelika Markul i Igor Omulecki mieli możliwość dowolnej interpretacji, wyboru formy, czy techniki prac, wspólny był tyko punkt wyjścia.

oraz jakiś czas temu zasłoniłam oczko w ilustracji Bartka do powieści Maćka Maleńczuka publikowanejw Bluszczu :)

I am back but changed place. I am residing in Berlin till the end of August. It so nice and sunny. My friend's mum lent me a bike so I can admire the views from the outside. Unfortunately I hopped that I could meet some people here but most of them left for holidays and will be back by the end of a month :(

I am going to Berlin for almost a month. I have hardly anything to do here so I guess I can do the same from there.
I sold Waleria (my vampire girl) because she was to big for me. It seems that MSD size is not for me.
I quickly bought Yo-SD and she'll arrive I suppose in the middle of September. I can't wait.

For the past 2 years I took part in myspace_ldz street project which aims to bring life into old shop displays which are ment to advertise shops located in the backyards. They are sometimes old and not inhibited anymore. Some artists were introduced to work on the boxes. Me as well. The idea is brilliant however the organization of the event leaves much to be desired. Terrible mail contact, money matters and most of all protection of our works- is what bugs me most.

It's clear that life span of some works is short and depends on kind of material is used to create your display. Especially when the organizers tell you that the event will last only for a month you do not seem to be worried about the durability of your work. I always put my heart in my projects either it was in 2007 when I had to bring 5 kilos of soil or in 2008 when creating paper doll house. Later on you learn that the project lasts a year until next opening.

It's pretty obvious that when you live in different city you do not have opportunity to take care of your work. But you put faith in the organizers who will from time to time look if everything is ok. I hear from people who write to me about my work that the roof fell from the house and smashed Tusia. It's devastating news but I know that not irreversible. Some time ago I wrote to one of the organizers describing the status quo and politely asked to have a look and maybe pick up the roof and glue it to the wall. The whole operation shouldn't take longer than 2 minutes including opening and closing the window. Unfortunately nothing has been changed since that time.

I could write more and more about myspace_ldz regarding publishing of the catalog, distribution of $ for the artists and so on. However, I will leave the topic at this point saying that there is no chance for me to take part in this year action! I am way too disappointed!

Today we celebrate Children's Day in Poland. I know that in different countries it falls on a different day.
I got today this crazy bunch of vintage pencil sharpeners. I am so overwhelmed by their faces! total exxxtasy!
aaand...not only are they ment to sharpen your pencils but they also give sound as they have paper tubes which you squeeze :)

I woke up today and listened to a mass coming from the neigbours' apartment. I didn't mind it at all today. I felt a sudden flash back, back to the past.

Suddenly I am 7 again, listening to a mass on the radio at my grandparents' home. Freshly baked cake stands on the table. I know I can't eat it because it's too warm. Grandma has just taken it out of the oven. It is yeast cake with crumble for sure. Additional crumble for me. Later on me and my grandpa will dress nicely and we will go at the cemetery to wash the graves of my relatives. We will have a chat, drink tea from a thermos and take some sun. It will be cheerful as it is every Sunday.
When we come back home, grandma will serve us vapour-cooked dumplings (yeast dumplings). I'll eat them with cream and sugar and they will have it with meat.
Later on there will be some old polish movie from 20's or 30's aired around 5:30 PM on TV. I love watching these old flicks. Now we can eat a cake and drink tea with lemon. Around 7PM my dad will appear out of nowhere and it will be the saddest moment during me whole weekend.

Busy Bee it's me! I've taken some really nice photos. I created a separate category on the right called Little Worlds which will comprise all tininess, so feel free to step by. Here are the photos I took today.

Pusia is an old pencil sharpener. I used to collect them when I was little. There were different themes for example girls riding a snail or a frog, girls with big heads and funny eyes, hilarious animals and so on.
As first comes Pusia ( read: Poosia, similar to freesia)

Then have a look at Wanda the Piggy. I took her for short vacations from my friend Lukasz. She's been almost half a year with me. She's beautiful. He bought her in New York in some shop. She was lying on the window display on a special red cushion like a French princess. I envy him that he can look at her piggish smily face everyday. She's one of the things which make me laugh.

There are a few things that I adore. For example Star Trek Next Generation with one and only capt. Jean-Luc Picard ( Patrick Stewart) and undoubtedly my chocolate cake with cream and strawberries on top. Divine! I <3 cream. The fatter the better. It makes me 30% closer to god :)

Yeah, there is this thing about me that I don't have dreams. I only have plans to fulfill. I'm a post-it person. I list everything I have to do and I go step by step until I finish. I set goals and I try not to give up my ideas.
But I do have one true dream. The dream that never fades out. If there was a quiz "which car are you" the answer would be Austin Morris Mini. I've been in love with this car for agesagesages. I hope that one day it'll be mine.

Remember when I posted a note about Vincent Gallo and that you should quickly go and see the short extracts from the movies that I posted because they might be soon deleted as Mr. Gallo is extremely sensitive to copyright infringements? ha! So all of the Buffalo66 clips were removed (like I said) and moreover my clip with Nutella when she was listening to "honey bunny" song by V.Gallo was also a removed from my youtube account. It came tome as no surprise. I can handle it. I still think it's a minor offense and I have it on my flickr account. I've always knew he was a freak. I knew it, knew it, knew it! My Nutella was only listening to the tunes that were in the background. I'm sure Gallo has sleeping problems, no one loves him and he checks his stats at youtube a few times a month. He's an old pervert but I <3 him for that.
Funny think is that there is another Vincent J.Gallo on youtube and it happened so that's a boy of the same names and he posts short movies. Once I came across his stream and saw a flick titled: why my videos are constantly being deleted from my account? and someone commented: sorry kid, I was drunk the other day and I deleted it for infringement. I bet that was Gallo with his sleeping problems.

This day I saw a man run over by a car and his head a few meters away from the rest of his body. It has been more traumatic than perpetual night sessions with rotten.com
Then I got trapped inside a tram. I've always known that I am afraid of confined places but only today I truly realized this fact. Strangely enough, elevator doesn't affect me at all.
To keep you up to date with the recent news, I was cleaning the pipes in my bathroom using special product designed for this. As you probably know, it is based on acid of some kind so you have to be careful when using it, remember when to use water, when the product...Yeah, I was careful but apparently not enough because suddenly all the granules erupted like Etna and landed on me with the force of Nigarafalls. I have blisters on my palms and arms from the acid. My t-shirt got burned too. Luckily my face was untouched. These are the days and scars of Mirella von Chrupek.

So my nightmares continue. I scream at night. I simply can't understand and embrace this fact. There must be obviously something which bothers me in my real life.
Thankfully, I finished a little present which will be soon send out. I don't even know whether it'll ever reach its addreesee or not. I sincerely hope that my mission will be successful.
I made a lumibox with my favourite psycho shroom and I decided to give it away. I no longer wish to keep my works at home. Right now I do not have power to sell my works either. My latest maxim after watching "Yes man" with Carrey is: "why not!!!" I hate Carrey but I kinda liked the whole idea of the movie. "Why not" seems such a good solution for many problems! Instead of analyzing and pondering on situation or people you just go and say: "Ok, I'll do it! why not!" Since I'm reluctant to changes I decided to make use of this why not! sometimes. Hence, the present, hence the person. Why not! who cares!

Yeah, I fell in love with her and the problem is, I want her very very very much. The bigger problem is I can't buy her right now since my funds are very limited.
I love her in this particular wig, her eyes are "nothing like the sun...." and these tiny lips are driving me crazy. She's so freaking different from the rest of my dolls and I truly believe she would make a fine piece to my collection. I can already visualize her as a perfect model for my photographs. I wish I could buy her.

This model is Bono. I'd order her in white skin, with a teardrop, make up coz it's beautiful and the same wig! If I had a chance to get the same eyes I'd be most happy.
However, for now I can only look at her. I hate this feeling of having to lick the windows to taste icecreams. I hate window shopping but it happens to me too often recently. I deserve her for the sake of all things I've had to refuse myself to buy since I couldn't afford them.

I've been having sleeping problems recently. I don't know what the reason for this is. I usually have difficulties with sleeping during a full moon but it lasts only for a day or two. I hope I won't develop such insomnia like in my mostmostmost favourite movie ever "Fight Club". (I only lovelovelove "Buffalo 66" on the same level) So, quoting, when you have insomnia you're never really asleep and you're never really awake. And this is how I feel most of the time: drenched of all good emotions and having an out-of-body experience. Everything is a copy of a copy of a copy. Nothing is real. Right now I am experiencing deep desire for chaos or simply an urge to destroy everything beautiful. I want to wipe my ass with the Mona Lisa, yeah!

If you've seen the movie, do read the book although I'm not a great fan of Palahniuk style but since the movie is my favourite I can somehow relate to this. Besides, when there's a movie and a book which the film is based on, I always read the book. Gosh, I've just realized that whenever I watch "Fight Club" I can't believe how I adore this flick and Pitt-Norton duo. BloodySweatyZexyBeasts. Eternal bliss. And finally FightClub is a marvelous study of a person going insane to make himself sane.

I'm sure you yourself have at least one movie that you know by heart and you have your lines. Here are some of mine:

I came back from my little city break to Berlin. I was there for Marc Almond's concert and it turned out so cool. I adore Marc for his lyrics and diversity. I love when my idols can sing live the same as on the record. I'll devote separate note on Almond soon because he undoubtedly deserves it. I love when the concerts are for a limited group of people in nice places, not very crowded. This gig was in Passionkirche in Kreuzberg. I was a little bit late since I'd thought there'd be a support band. Actually there wasn't any but the concert lasted for almost 2,5-3 hours anyway.
It was raining during the whole weekend but luckily there were some nice spells of weather. I love Berlin. I'm planning to spend summer (3 months) there. yeah :)

If you haven't seen "Blue in the face" (1995) yet, shame on you! Everyone's here is hilarious. The movie was filmed over a five day period and didn't have a complete script. Thus it's a combination of improvised performances of Jim Jarmusch, Harvey Keitel, Mira Solvino, Roseane and more.

Yes, she's here. I am short of money right now but I so wanted to buy a doll. I decided to buy myself a Blythe. SInce I am not a big fan of Blythes it came as a shock to me that I did it. Actually it was a present and they give, you take it, right?

I named her differently than other girls since she was a surprise and I wanted her to be combination of spontaneity. She is Nutella because I was preparing breakfast and this is what I was spreading on my bread at that very moment. Secondly, I love Nutella. It brings back good memories from the childhood days. It still has the same cocoa-nut taste. I can go crazy for it. And Pattinson because I kinda like the guy. I like him as Toby in "Haunted Airman" and he has a nice jaw. It's a pity there's this whole teenager franzy going on connected with "Twilight". It must be freaking psychotic and mentally wearisome for the guy to know that an average girl in her teens wants to be bitten by him in one of her sleazy dreams. Anyway, since I needed the surname and my friend was just talking about him....So now you know the story.

She will soon go to lovely tinkerina for some changes. I will soon dye her hair too so that it'll be more Nutellalike. Usually people start with Blythes and than BJD. It seems with me it's the other way round :)

I am still planning to buy Lati Green Senny (I guess) or some Customhouse Ai girl. I hope it'll happen soon. Maybe you wanna donate? :)

Today something about movies. "Buffalo 66" by Vincent Gallo. As much as I consider Gallo to be a total a freak I adore this movie. It dates back 1998 and features lovely Christina Ricci. She said that she will never work with narcistic Gallo again because she allegely suffered abuse on the set. She says: "I was seventeen, yeah. It was my first movie away without my mother. Not a wise choice. I really didn’t understand what was going on most of the time working with a crazy lunatic man. I’d never encountered such insanity". This I can truely believe in. Working with Gallo can leave you traumatized to the end of your days. Despite the controversial issues, I think she did a great job! Actually they both did. The movie is a wonderful mixture of irony and black humour but on the other hand it's kinda romantic.

I wouldn't like to disclose you a whole plot so I'll refrain from doing so. See and watch it for yourself. I'll only say that I love the scene in a shifter car and Ricci's tap dance and photo booth scene and when Billy Brown's dad sings...The visual effect of "Buffalo 66" is made with the use of 35mm and 16mm film and the colours seem to be desaturated which gives the movie a retro style.
You can watch some clips from the movie below. I bet Gallo will soon delete them from youtube as he often does. This is a rare occasion to see some extracts from the movie. Enjoy when it's not too late.

Remember him in a great movie "Arizona Dream" (Emir Kusturica, 1993) where he played Paul Lager, the actor? I fell in love with him there.

It's worth mentioning that Vincent Gallo is not only an good actor (because I do like his creations) but also quite a good a singer. "When" is probably one of the most beautiful records I've ever heard. Produced with the use of original equipment form the 70s: guitars, hammonds, microphones and so on..Bunnylicious "Honey Bunny" below. I always get shivers when listening to it. It's kinda retro, don't you think.

Unfortunately I take Gallo as he is, no matter what he says on this website! Aaaaaaannnd he is pretty well endowed if you know what I mean....Check this fact at the end of Bunny Brown with wonderful Chloe Sevigny who performs actual fellatio on Gallo there. Here is more reference for mainstream films with unsimulated sex :)

What's more, he's advertising polish vodka Belvedere and the clip is directed by Terry Richardson. Quite nice combination, don't you think? Hard to resist.

But for now, have a look at new HankyPankyGelz! I took these photos at 5PM with my friends (Wuj Zepter and Maciej Mahler). Some of the photos might be blurry. But I like them this way. They turned out to be very spontaneous.
These are Jahne's Pullips. They have sophisticated clothes with laces and aprons, strange eyes and hair. I had no idea what to do with them. But, the girls showed me how to play!

I've been blue for some time. It comes and goes. You never know when you can be hit by a thunder of melancholy.
I've been listening to Brett Anderson's solo album all day. I can't believe I missed his concert in Poland. Frankly speaking I've been a devoted fan of Suede and Brett for over a decade. I cannot be fully objective about him. His recent solo albums have been very acustic which I like.
I've found today quite a new interview (2008) with him on youtube. There are 7 parts which you'll easily find.
He talks about recording his album in a week, about "Wilderness" simplicity, lyrics and melody, being lazy when playing rock music. He also says that music is about emotion and the only way to express emotions is by talking about relationships, to investigate the endless possibilities of relationships. Singing about third World economics doesn't engage you emotionally.
It stimulates you only intellectually, which is true to some point.

Here is probably one of m favourite Suede songs. Piano version is even more powerful. It gives me goose lumps.

Ha! Here she is. My little money keeper. She has a small hole at the back so she'll help me to raise money for my next dollies and dolly related stuff such as lenses, cameras, new clothes and etc. Bank account isn't working for me. I believe she can guard my savings better. However, this is her mission :)

I love the sinister mood of this forlorn girl. What's more interesting, I've found out she can also be very cheerful in her own way.
I do believe that even non-animate objects can actually change and transform.
Matylda can be very sorrowful but you give her a bear she suddenly lights up. It's so noticable at the some photos.

I played wth my new charity box yesterday and here are the results.
Btw, she doesn't have a name yet. I guess this is not what she misses most so I'll just call her my Charity Box.

Yeah, it came as no surprise to me that my website does not work properly on different systems other than Mac OS. Updating sites, blogs, projects takes a looooooooooooot of time, please believe me, I should hire someone who could just take care of my business online. I go to regular work, I create my stuff, sell things, publish and put everything in internet space. It's soooo timeconsuming.
Just a few hours ago I noticed that one cannot view my Handmade Creations site on PC! It possibly hasn't been working for quite a long time! I simply don't know the reason. So once again, me master of html, had to reconfigure my site so that PC users could see it properly. Finally, after a year and a half of struggle, the site works fine. I'm not too enthusiastic about it but it has to suffice.

Thus I added new category on the right called S H O P. Here you will find things which are available to get from me. You may write to me about the pendants, brooches....

I'd like to add at this point that Bunny Terminator Project has terminated and I'll no longer be a his Creator. Bunny has gone on really loooong vacations. Thank you all for taking part in his adventures. He's been to such marvelous places that he didn't even dreamt of. Thank you folks!

I couldn't miss the possibility to take part in myspace_ldz project. This is a project where artists present their works in old showcases in the streets of Łódź. I took part last year and I made a dark grave project which lasted for the longest period of time because it was dark and gloomy. That is why hooligans didn't see it so well and they missed such a great target.
This year, I made something very cheerful and colourful. I wouldn't be surprised if it was distroyed a day after. I must say that such streets projects determine your work. You have to think about possible demages, materials, difficulty connected with setting the project.
Overall I'm quite happy how it turned out. It could be more dimentional but if the case is only 5 cm deep, it's hard to come with multilayered composition.
I'd like to show you some of the photos.

Matylda came back from spa in Seul where they upgraded her faceup. Now she looks stunning although sad which I didn't expect so much.
Unfortunately, autumn is coming and there will be less and less good light. I'm planing to buy some lights but now I have to get a new battery to my Mac and a hard disc. I'll tell you as a secret, so don't tell anyone: I have no backup! Yeah, yeah I know, it's a same and I might cry later but the situation is like this for now. I also want to buy Filemona a new body which doesn't cost much and will make her a super poseable chick! So here are my news. What are yours?

There are some things that make me go hmmm. For example: why some of my photos on the site aren't sharply sharp as they really are. Some of them are slightly blurred and I cannot make head or tails of this problem. I suppose it might be something in the settings of Rapidweaver which I'm using. If you find some photo unclear, please refer to it on my flickr site. I am not an expert in html but I'll try to figure it where to push the correct button to change the settings.
If you know what might be the problem please leave me a note under the post or write me an email. I'd be greatful to finally solve this itchy problem.

It seems that sun has gone to Australia. I have no plans about my holidays but one I know for sure I want to rest and do nothing. Besides I encourage you to buy my kaleidoscopes since I'm saving $$$ for a new house for my dolls and every penny counts :)

Filemona!
I've waited for her for so long and finally she arrived some time ago. Filemona is a naughty girl. She loves playing tricks on everyone. Maybe because she spent most of her life in a box travelling from far away countries until she finally reached my house. I utterly understand her misbehaviour.
She was born with dirty feet thus I call her Filemona the Dirty Feet.

This is my new 43cm heigh, Asian rasin ball joint doll. Her name is Waleria. I made her a hero of my new project. I have recently started to collect BJD and been fascinated with their beauty. As Matylda is a very outgoing creation which loves traveling, sneaking everywhere and meeting new people, Waleria on the other hand is peaceful likes to stay at home and dream about faraway places.

For those who have been patient enough to visit my page, I have good news!
I have been working on moving my old site onto another server and so it is done!
The previous site had many bugs. One the horrors were flicking advertisements which were hard to bypass and were too annoying to bear. However, the site will be Safari and Firefox friendly, so if you had any problems with dancing letters or images, simply change the browser. I am not an expert in html, so it is difficult for me to cater for everyone's taste in browsers. Sorry for troubles. Nobody's perfect.

This Friday (26th October), in Łódź city, you will have an opportunity to see my next work in real. As usual, photos soon. However, if you happen to be in Lodz that time, please visit my little garden (with a surprise below) which I plan to construct in one of the street cases. It will be situated on 1 Narutowicza Str, just near Piotrkowska Str. Here is the old box. It looks rather browny and sad to me. I hope to make it a bit more colourful.

I would like to invite you also to join us at 17:07, 12 Nowomiejska Str. There will be a short introduction to the project and you will get there maps with locations of the places where you can admire other people's works.
